About OneNikah

OneNikah, originally launched as 1Nikah.com, was first built in 2020 with a simple purpose: to give Muslims a respectful and private way to find suitable marriage matches.
Over the years, thousands of profiles have registered on the platform. From the very beginning, privacy has been at the heart of OneNikah. Profiles remain anonymous, allowing people to explore potential matches without unnecessarily exposing their personal information.
Alhamdulillah, we have received numerous messages from people who found their match through the platform and have since gotten married. We've even received a few biryani invitations along the way! 😄
A New OneNikah
Technology has changed rapidly since we first launched, particularly with the emergence of AI and modern web technologies. We decided it was time to make the most of these advancements and build a completely new and modern OneNikah platform.
The new platform has been rebuilt using newer technologies, with a focus on improving the experience, privacy, reliability and tools available to our users.
And this is only the beginning. Mobile apps are also planned for the future.
Is OneNikah Free?
Yes. OneNikah remains free to use.
However, we have introduced certain usage limits to help prevent abuse of the platform.
On the previous platform, we encountered situations where some users would send requests to hundreds of people without genuinely considering whether they were suitable matches. This can make the experience frustrating for everyone and takes away from the purpose of the platform.
By placing reasonable limits on certain actions, we hope to encourage users to be more thoughtful and genuine when searching for a potential spouse.
For those who would like access to additional features or higher limits, optional premium packages will also be available for a small fee.
Keeping OneNikah Running
OneNikah is built and maintained with a simple goal: to provide a useful service to the Muslim community without making it unnecessarily expensive.
While the platform itself remains free, building and running a modern service comes with real costs.
The new OneNikah has taken several months of consistent and relentless development work. We also rely on a number of services to build, operate and maintain the platform, including:
- AI development and usage services, with several subscriptions costing between $20 and $50 per month
- Premium email services to deliver notifications and important messages
- Hosting and server infrastructure, with costs that increase as more people use the platform
- Other software, security and operational services required to keep everything running smoothly
We want OneNikah to remain accessible to everyone, which is why the core platform will continue to be free.
At the same time, your support helps us keep the service alive and continue improving it.
If you find OneNikah useful, you can support us by subscribing to one of the optional premium packages or purchasing some of our AI-related packages. These contributions help us cover the ongoing costs of development, hosting and the services that make OneNikah possible.

Yashin Soraballee is a technology and program management professional, currently serving as Tech & Data Lead at Publicis Global Delivery in Africa. Passionate about building meaningful solutions, he created the original 1Nikah.com platform in 2020 to help Muslims find suitable spouses in a respectful and faith-conscious environment.
After witnessing several successful Nikah stories through the platform, Yashin decided to build a modern evolution of the original platform: OneNikah. The new platform combines his experience in technology and data with AI-powered matching, helping members discover more compatible potential matches.
Beyond technology, Yashin is also the Secretary General of Ikhwaan Ul Muslemeen Mosque, Bon Accueil, Mauritius where he continues to serve his community.
